In the Lochard photo, the words: “Painted on the island of Saint-Ouen to serve as a background for the Déjeuner sur l ‘Herbe>> This painting is analogical with La Pêche (Wildensteinn ° 36) and with a watercolor also called La Pêche, preserved in the Boymans Museum Rotterdam (Wildenstein drawings No. 214).
